Steadily building to the task over four starts this time in, trainers Peter and Paul Snowden have nominated Gypsy Diamond for the 2014 Tesio Stakes.

Claiming three wins and a further four minor places over her eight appearances on course so far, Gyspy Diamond was a notable performer over the 2014 Autumn Carnival; finishing second in the Group 2 Light Fingers Stakes (1200m) first-up and continuing to build in form and classy on her way to victory in the Group 3 Carbine Club Stakes (1600m) and close second in the Group 1 Queen Of The Turf Stakes (1600m) most notably.

Running a credible fifth in the Group 3 Angst Stakes (1600m) last time out, the Not A Single Doubt will be more than a chance of success in the 2015 Tesio Stakes if allocated a favourable barrier.

Securing three wins and two minors from her eight competitive starts so far, lightly raced four-year-old Khutulun has been nominated for the 2014 Tesio Stakes.

Finishing outside the places just once in five starts leading into the Group 1 Queensland Oaks (2400m) over winter, the Soldier’s Tale mare was unlucky to be blocked for a run in her major target and finished a disappointing tenth.

Having won the Askin FM (1300m) first-up this time before running fifth after being hampered early in the De Bortoli Wines BM78 (1400m) last time out, Khutulun is a leading chance for success in the 2014 Tesio Stakes.

A strong performer for trainer Gai Waterhouse over the 2014 Autumn Carnival, Forever Loved is yet to produce much of a consistent run of form through four spring starts but is offered a great chance of success in the 2014 Tesio Stakes.

Finishing second in the TAB Rewards Fillies 3.y.o (1400m) before returning to the winner’s circle in the Australian Turf Club 3.y.o (1500m) on February 15th, the High Chaparral mare appeared outclassed when tenth in the Group 3 Echo Aspiration Quality (1600m) on March 15th, but responded in impressive fashion in finishing third in the Group 1 Vinery Stud Stakes (2000m) and fourth in the Group 1 Australian Oaks (2400m).

Having won the Group 2 Blazer Stakes (1400m) impressively on October 4th, Forever Loved is more than capable of success in the 2014 Tesio Stakes.

A final field and barrier draw for the 2014 Tesio Stakes is due to be released on Wednesday morning.
